April Showers May Flowers

Now, let's get down to the serious business.....Card-Making!!!!!!!!!

Over at Fab'n'Funky challenges we have a fun theme for you

April Showers bring May flowers

Yes we want to see creations with Umbrellas and/or flowers

And considering the weather we've been having here it is not impossible to visualise umbrellas

I really enjoyed making this one......we all need a little colour right now

These adorable little umbrellas are from my TL advent calender and so are the wellies.

The rainbow paper I've had in my stash for a few years now...(honestly not sure how long) and yes the flowery paper underneath the stand was my original plan BUT rainbows!!!!

(Ignore the messy room in the background, I desperately need a tidy up....)

Head over to Fab'n'Funky challenges and share some love with our wonderful DT. We always love seeing your creations.

CELEBRATIONS

What a wonderful long weekend  filled with celebration.

Which leads me nicely to the new challenge over at Fab'n'Funky challenges....

This time we want...........

CELEBRATIONS

Share with us your celebrations, be it birthday, christenings or like me anniversary.

Somehow my husband and I have reached our 30th wedding anniversary

(no we don't know how either 😜)

And naturally you have to have a celebration for that......so.....INVITES!

According to the wedding anniversary chart 30th is pearl and the colour green, and of course being a little bit of a traditionalist I incorporated them into my invites.

I used pearl white pearlesant card for the numbers and flower (unfortunately the camera didn't pick it up), green on green for the main card and a lovely floral paper from deep in my stash.

If I remember, I will make a tiny video so the gorgeous pearlesant card can be seen in all it's glory, the sheen is magical.

Nearly finished another dress for my granddaughter, so will share that with you soon.

Ankle is on the mend so back to geocaching soon to.

Enjoy our new challenge and don't forget to leave our lovely DT's some love.

Fab'n'Funky Flowers

So over at Fab'n'Funky challenges we have a lovely cheery theme

Flowers

Show us your flower power

And I have two offerings to share with you.

Firstly a subtle green stepper, I have to confess it's a little bit of cheating as it is a TL die I bought a few years ago at Doncaster Crafting Live. The flowers are another TL die from my 2019 advent calendar.

This bright & bold card consists of some fabulous patterned paper I have had for over 5 yrs.
Pastel strips in one direction with bold strips woven the other way. I couldn't resist adding black flowers (TL die). This card was created with one of my friends in mind. I  know she'll like the bold colours. Not sure how she's going to feel about the 3 sheet of A4 that are the letter I included 🤣.

Please visit all our lovely DT's over at Fab'n'Funky challenges and leave them some love.

Back very soon with some crazy creations.

Layering it up

 Hello my lovelies,

So I have spotted that the Sisterhood of Crafters is doing a "Lots of Layers" which seemed like the perfect subject for my sis-in-laws birthday card.

I used a Dolly Dimples stamp
The flower was coloured using ProMarkers (orchid, amethyst, plum & magenta) and pear green with a little moss green for the leaves.
The layers consist of Olive green, Pale peach and Perfect plum cardstock.
My flower and leaf embellishments are TL dies, the lower layer of the flower is cut from the pale peach and the top layer is cut from greaseproof paper.
Whilst the leaves are in the Olive green cardstock and one edge is coloured with moss green ProMarker to give a little depth.
A little amethyst gem to finish it off.

Back soon with more sharing
