Let them eat cake

 Good morning my lovelies,

Have your summer holidays been as hectic as mine? I hope not.

But it is nice to be back with all the crafty chaos.....lol

I am hostess this time over at Fab'n'Funky challenges, and I chose

 

"Let Them Eat Cake" 

(the main image should be a cake)

 

Thankfully for me I fell in love with a series of stamps a few years ago, from the Dolly Dimples Craft

 They had a large selection of cake stamps and it was agony trying to choose just a few

 This is Fab Cake 10, I thought Fab Cakes were very appropriate for a Fab'n'Funky challenge.

I didn't bother with the usual shading to make it look more 3D.

Some S.U. Dapper Demin cardstocks for the layers on White card.

All very simple layout, but I added a twist of colour, with the central cake layer brighter than the rest of the card. The Promarker Lime Twist & Plum, drawing the eye to the centre.

The top & bottom layers are Petrol blue & Aegean.
