In the 4th Advent Window

Christmas is getting closer, shall we carry on with the calendar? Of course we will, why should children be the only ones to get excited by an advent calendar.

In the 4th Advent Window
My calendar gave to me
A winter wonderland snow flake

Talk about perfect timing, this was exactly the little touch I needed to finish my christmas cards. So I started going a little carzy with the die cutting
I used purple card and a Silver Shake It pen, to give them extra wintery sparkle. I then printed out a few LOTV Smowman digi stamps and hey presto....
The first of many christmas cards. I also die-cut blue snowflakes and circles. I'm thinking of doing some line green ones too (just to be different). I have also added glitter to the orbs around the snowmans head.
I have seen a few interesting challenges I am going to enter this cute little card into:
I hope you will return tomorrow to see what delight the advent window reveals

Oh I almost forgot, we almost have a living room wall :-)  photo tomorrow   Hopefully they will finish rebuiling it by the end of the week. Then we just have to wait for the new window.......so exciting

See you soon

B Mojo

Good evening and what a lovely day we've had here in Derbyshire.
I have made a dual challenge card that I want to share with you all.

So my "beginning with B" is a simple butterfly with a slight twist, I used good old fashioned greaseproof paper to create it.
The papers, frilled ribbon and candy-dots are all from the bottom of my stash

I die-cut white paper plus greaseproof and then coloured in the greaseproof layer with a yellow Promarker.
I love the fact that you can hardly see the colour.

Back very soon with lots more crafting fun

New way to craft

Firstly...I can share my secret with you all now but we can discuss that after I share this with you;
I know lots of people use digital stamps all the time but I have never really tried.....BUT....I found a gorgeous digital stamp and used it to create another card for another one of my daughters friends.
Here it is

This flower is so fab. I spotted it on the Stitchy Bears Digital Outlet.
It's called - Funky Flower.
I love the fact that I can change the size to whatever I want.
Plus it's always fun to find something new you hadn't tried before.
I used a kraft envelope for the triangle and strip.
LOTV Sophisticated Sentiments.

Love this Funky Flower
I have decided to enter my creation into the:

I wouldn't normally say this but I will be so glad when I finish work Friday evening - the weekend can't come quickly enough.
Although deputising for my boss for a couple of days has been a pleasant enough time.
I think it's the sudden drop in temperature (cycle gear isn't the warmest clothing...) and the fact that my new craft storage trolley showed up damaged

I had been so excited when I got home from work and then I took the wrapping off and found this...

On the plus side, I contacted them and they are going to arrange collection and deliver me an undamaged one.

Fingers crossed I'll be able to share some piccies of it soon

I am now a member of the design team for
Fab 'n' Funky Challenges......woohoo
The ladies there are amazing designers and I feel very privileged to have been chosen

I shall be back soon
