Feeling Blue?

 Good morning world

I don't no about your weather but ours has been crazy, last week freezing and now, blowing a gale with downpours....ahhhh the beauty of living on an island (300miles at our widest point)

Well that's enough of that, the Sisterhood of Crafters would like to invite you to go

winter BLUE

yes, let us see your blue side, with a variety of shades

I've tried a little bit of masking with a stencil and then adding a little depth using colour, not sure if I pulled it off. What do you think?

The stencil - Cardio Church Window - you might think these windows are cut out and foam backed BUT no, I traced the the windows, the ran a fineline pen over the pencil line. I then coloured in the background with a Tan promarker, then one the right-hand edge of each I used a Cinnamon then a Cocoa promarker to give depth/shadowing.

The balloons stamp - F.t.L.o.S Birthday Balloons - more masking to get lots of balloons to be passing by the window, the texture stamped in S.U. Pacific point and Tempting turquoise. The balloon strings are free-hand with a fineliner pen.

Sentiment - F.t.L.o.S Essential Overlay sentiments - Happy in S.u. Marina Mist and Birthday in Momentos Tuxedo black, on white cardstock mounted on S.U. Denim blue cardstock (same as lower layer). Mounted to the card with 2mm foam pads.

Our lovely DT have made some inspirational cards, so go over and share some love with them....HERE

Hugs & Happy thoughts

I really thought those windows were cut out at first glance, what wonderful shadowing on them. Love the heart balloons too, yep! A happy card. It's been a long while for visiting, so I have enjoyed looking back at your lovely work.
