Snowmen

 Hello again

Oooow it's turned a bit nippy here, which is quite appropriate because

we are building

SNOWMEN

(Snow people if you prefer)

over at Fab'n'Funky challenges

so without further delay here is my simple creation

Another one of my WMS stamp sets (I do miss WMS),  with pale blue and white cardstock and light blue gems.

Snowmen were cut out by hand andmounted using 1mm foam pads after the snowflakes were stamped. Then the gems were added

I hope you are all well underway with your Yuletide preparations, I won't lie I'm slightly behind schedule this year.

Although I have got a few dozen christmas card made and I will start posting them this week, just to gaurantee they all arrive in time.

I actually received my first christmas card yesterday.

Please remember to visit all our lovely ladies and leave them some good vibes, HERE

Blue Hues

 Hello my lovelies,

we are feeling BLUE over at Fab'n'Funky challenges because our new challenge is

All Blue Hues

so show us your project with lots of different blues.

I went for a mainly ink card, the balloons were stamped then masked off and then the sentiment was added.

Fall Harvest & joining the Sisterhood

Some exciting news, I am now a member of The Sisterhood of Crafters design team.

I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the email, such a nice surprise.

The challenge this time is

Fall Harvest

(so think autumn or harvest time or combine the two,
all those warm colours and piles of leaves)

Similar to a previous card I made but with a bit more emphasis on harvest time, I created this

Lots of masking on this one, we start with the juicy red apple then mask it.

Next comes the basket of apples then mask.

Lastly the Pumpkin group.

Masks removed and the colouring began.

I then stamped the leaves on a separate piece of card, coloured them in and cut them out.

I layered up using 1mm foam pads.

Please pop over to the Sisterhood and share some love with our wonderful design team, HERE

  • Cardstock - white and S.U. Pumkin pie
  • Stamp - WMS Peace & Plenty
  • Promarkers - Carmine, Crimson, Poppy, Pumpkin, Mango, Apricot, Spice, Pear green, Moss green, Lemon, Tan, Caramel, Cinnamon
  • Ink - Momento tuxedo black

Looking forward to seeing what everyone creates

Masculine

 Hey good morning,

We have to remember all those wonderful men in our lives, so over at Fab'n'Funky challenges we want you to show us

Masculine

whatever your take of masculine is, be it colours or images

I have gone for a CAS card style, with minimal colour pallette

I first stamped the lantern using S.U.baked brown sugar inkpad, then masked it off.

Next the boot-prints were stamped using S.U.soft suede inkpad.

The lantern was coloured in using promarkers - caramel, cinamon, burnt sienna and lemon.

Finishing with the sentiment in Momentos tuxedo black.

Stampset used was F.t.L.o.S. The Great Outdoors.

Please pop over and leave some love for our wonderful Design Team, they always enjoy your visit, HERE

Youngest daughter popped home from Uni to bring me some fabric and get her measurements taken for a cosplay costume she wants.

And Yes, for those of you who've been visiting me for years you will recognise this concept art, Hatsune Miku 2020 winning costume. We never got round to making it as lockdowns shut down all the events.

So now we are finally getting it made, I say we but the sewing will be ME. I am making her do all the hand-painting on the skirt 😉.

Back again soon with more sharing
