All Sorts of Christmas Challenges

What a Christams!?!?!?!?
Half the house laid up with flu, half the presents not wrapped....But hey ho, we're still here and fitting back 👌
At least we got a fully plastered wall for christmas, I can't stop singing the builderes praises enough. They gave us back Christmas.
A little bit of news...the forensics came back and the police came to take our statements again. Hopefully the driver will now come to justice.

Now for some fun crafty stuff...

Firstly I have a christmas card to share with you...

I am entering this little card into the
I kept it nice and simple. I loved the effect silver and white on kraft. I used Ice Grey promarker to highlight the edges of the petals and went over it with a sakura clear stardust pen (unfrtunately it didn't show in the photo). The greeting was stamped in smokey slate then overwritten with a silver pen.

Now I'm sure no one wants to sing christmas songs now BUT lets finish off the Advent calendar shall we....
" In the -- Advent window
my calendar gave to me

(21) One glass of Bubbly

(22) A cute fluffy bunny

(23) A quick boot up the backside

(24) A blurry special greeting

And (25) an exploding bottle of bubbly

The minute my camera batteries are fully recharged I shall share all my little creations (DOH!)

Advent catch up.....

The last few days have been a little crazy, the forensics have come back from the lab so our case officer came round to take statements (they took statements on the night but they have to do it again just in case you're overly emotional at the time). An hour after the officer had left the Asda delivery showed up, once we had packed all that away we finally grabbed some dinner. Friday wasn't much better and then yesterday my husband decided to do the back-up which took the entire day!!! MENTAL!!!!
I promised to share my creation for advent window 13 but what I should have said was a peek.
It's a birthday card for a football mad friend and I don't want to give the Game away.

Just before we get on with the advent calendar.....I will be offer 2 crafty candies in January, one for UK followers and one for Worldwide followers.....so if you want to start following now so you don't miss the event...

But let's get on with a few more days shall we......
"In the 14th Advent window
my calendar gave to me
a creepy little spider web"
"In the 15th Advent window
my calendar gave to me
a beautiful diamond ring"
I decided to combine the last two into a homage to my wonderful sister-in-law. She has refused to marry her other half for the best part of 2 decades so I created an ATC to express the long wait..
I used a dark grey backing, die-cut the web from light grey and added a little black ink. I ruffed the edges. I added a little blue gem to give it a bit more dimension. I die-cut the bow in mirri-card wihich I then scrunched up. The red fabric is a tiny scrap thet was left over from the waistcoats I made earlier in the year.
She has said she'll marry him when england win the world cup......She never specified if it had to be the mens team 😁 !!!!!!Go ladies!!!!!
I'm entering this into:
The 16th and 17th will follow very shortly, as well as I peek at my happy holidays collection.

See you tomorrow
