Hello Lovelies

Over at Fab'n'Funky challenges we have a new challenge for you.
This week our theme is:

Masculine

(show us your projects with a masculine touch such as cars, trains or maybe the special man in your life has a favourite hobby)

I've used a simply theme based on one of my hubbies hobbies, going hiking on his birthday.

We of course won't be hiking at our usual spot this year, but there is an old railway line that has been turned into a rambling path not to far from our home.

Father day is on the way

Can you believe we are in June already? Where is this year disappearing to?
I know the long hours I've done recently (12hrs on Friday) will make the time seem to pass a bit quicker but June? I'm sure it was Easter yesterday!?!?!
Oh well, the important thing is we are all here crafting. And I have a nice little Fathers Day card to share.

 I've used  the masking technique to build up the picture

I started by stamping the campfire masked it then stamped the tent. A nice simple uncluttered card.
Of course you can't go camping without having a few little friends show up

I thought for a bit of an alternative I'd do a hand written sentiment.

It's getting a little late so I shall sign off for tonight.

Another masculine birthday

Well that's another birthday taken care of and I think he liked his card. The ladies will soon start having birthday at work, so back to frills and flowers soon. But for the moment it's just been the men.

I have used one of my recent-ish purchases from LOTV

 Sorry my photo isn't too good but I only remembered to take a piccie as I was on my way out of the door.
I like this stamp because it's ageless.

And the little dog is quite cute too.

I used a simple and reasonably clean design so the image could be the focus of the card. The corner foliage and Happy Birthday are from the Tattered Lace starter pack.

Back soon with another card that I can't share till after Friday.
