1 Sketch, 1 Character stamp and Many different Colourways

Well, it's been quite a challenge but I've finally finished. I decided to use this weeks Mojo Monday sketch and use different colour combos. But I also decided to do it using only one character stamp, Gorguss - New Heights.
So the sketch in question is:

 Mojo Monday

I tried to stick to the sketch as much as possible so that the colour changes
would stand out.

A pretty but aged pink and lace version

A bright cheerful version (with homemade air-dry clay daisy)

A broody grunge version (with homemade air-dry clay butterfly and cog)

And lastly a delicate pastel version (with homemade air-dry clay flowers)

I have had great fun dreaming up different colour combos, partly to help me use up some of the huge pile of designer papers I had accumulated.

Leave me a message telling me which one is your favourite and why, plus click the follow button and you could be getting a message back letting to know it's all yours.

Red and Blue

Hello again

We have a colour challenge for you over at The Male Room.
No neutrals means no black, brown, tan, cream, silver or gold.
As most of you will know this time of year is festival season in britain, so my inspiration card pays homage to the great british music festival (although I have left the mud out.....)
Visit the other ladies blogs for more inspiration.

Doncaster Craft Show

After a rather uncomfortable car trip (need to rethink the design of my cushion) Heather and I arrived at Doncaster.
We were extremely lucky because as we stood in the que for workshops they shouted out for people who wanted the Parchment Lace workshop, which was just about to start.
So we had a go, the ball-tool bit was great but trying to do that pique cut thingy, aaarrrgh!!
We had a little wonder round a few stalls, grabbed some lunch and then manages to get onto an Air-dry clay workshop. Now this was BRILLIANT!!! We made a small bunch of flowers.
When I got home I found a tiny plant pot to put then in.
I think they go perfectly in the pot.

I was exceptionally well behaved and kept my spending to an absolute minimum, WooHoo!
I did pick up a few very nice thing which will feature in projects very soon.

Off to take my painkillers and get some sleep

Masculine Perspective

Ove at "The Male Room" we have an interesting challenge for you all.

http://themaleroomchallengeblog.blogspot.co.uk/
That's right get those flowers to man up! But if they are struggling to man up then remember humour always helps.
I'm affraid this isn't my original design for this challenge, it had a misunderstanding with a cup of coffee.
But I've never been a quitter so after a frantic remake and then discovering the youngest had taken the camera on her school trip, I finally have something to share with you all
I apologise for the poor picture, I haven't quite mastered mobile phone photography yet. I have tried to combine humour with a nice perspective view.
I hope it makes you smile and also inspires you.
Coffee must be kept at least 3ft away from card projects at all times (this is now my new safety wall notice)

Please come along and see what the other DT ladies have created and remember to leave some love

Multi-Paper

We have an interesting challenge for you this week over at Fab'n'Funky Challenges.

Our lovely sponsor this week is
This week we want to see
2 or more background papers

I've gone slightly pink and faded for this weeks challenge inspiration. The lovely lady you see is Lenore Muffet (you can find her here). I did consider putting her in a web but felt a nice TL die-cut frame would be sufficient.
I used pink papers that were part of a set I discovered in my loft. (I had totally forgotten they were up there) It's always nice though, finding something buried in your stash boxes. I had sent my husband up to get me some designer papers and he came back down with 3 (12x12) boxes. But back to the challenge, so I have 3 different papers all with different shades of pink with differing patterns.

I cut two butterflies, one in white card and one in grease-proof.
Coloured the card in black and to give the greaseproof one more dimension I coloured it in pink then used my clear sakura gel pen over top.

You can see in this example the edges of the paper have been inked. First I used a dusky pink ink the black ink to give it more impact.

I look forward to seeing everyones challenge entries. Remember to visit all our lovely DT ladies and leave them some love.
