B Mojo

Good evening and what a lovely day we've had here in Derbyshire.
I have made a dual challenge card that I want to share with you all.

• Just Add Ink - Beginning with B
• Mojo Monday - sketch

So my "beginning with B" is a simple butterfly with a slight twist, I used good old fashioned greaseproof paper to create it.

The papers, frilled ribbon and candy-dots are all from the bottom of my stash

I die-cut white paper plus greaseproof and then coloured in the greaseproof layer with a yellow Promarker.
I love the fact that you can hardly see the colour.

An Xmas Pud

Honeycomb or Cinder Toffee

Very exciting, I had another attempt at making honeycomb. Now, it's not quite to the standard you'd get in a shop...........but

I'm very proud of this new batch.

Although after a conversation with some collegues I'm not sure if I should call it Honeycomb or Cinder toffee.

Well no matter what it's called it tastes lovely.

When I've perfected it I'll write it up.

Mojo Male Transport

Another busy weekend but I have still managed to whip up a couple of cards. As you may have gathered from the title it's a card for a man. I designed it with two challenges in mind:

So here is my take on these challenges, I decided to go for a nice simple and clean look for this card.

I used a glitter pen over a pale grey for the front bumper but it's a little hard to see on my photo. I tried to used the colours that would go together.

I definitely need to invest in a lightbox for photographing my card.

Non Honeycomb

Well after a very busy weekend I thought I would have a go at making some honeycomb

Unfortunately I think I didn't add enough bicarb because it didn't rise up as much as it should have.
