Busy body

Well I have finally photographed Anth fox

He is already starting to look well loved, but then I've had a job to get it off him again. Nice to know he likes it so much.
For anyone who read my last post, you know I was in somewhat of a panic as I ran out of light pink yarn and my project was nowhere near complete.

 WELL....

I'm blind, there was another ball in the bottom of my basket..DOH!!

So back to hooking

New Project

Evening all,
I'm afraid I have no more news on the police activity yet. All local news has not mentioned a thing about it....go figure!
Anyway, no card just an unfinished afghan

There are a few more blocks completed BUT I have run out of the pale pink and unfortunately it was one of the balls I got of my mum-in-law.
So I have no idea what brand it is or shade it was.
Found a possible replacement but hard to tell on a computer screen.

Ah well, murphy's law strikes again.....lol

Police on old Breadsall railway line

Interesting events taking place in Derby today.
Graham and I went for a walk along the Great Northern Greenway (old derby - breadsall railway line) when we came across a police officer guarding a taped off area.
The polite officer claimed he had no information about what had occurred as he had just been told to stand guard.

 

As yet there has been no news in the press, but a group of crime scene officers were present (in full ppe).

In other news;

I completed my first Yoga class on monday and it was great, I felt fab afterwards and intend to keep going.

I crocheted a fox for Anthony's birthday (photo to follow shortly).

Pancake day was a lovely indulgent event in our house

As you can see, fresh strawberries dripping with butter and maple syrup

Quietly pleased

Hello all,
I have been having major problems accessing my blog but finally fixed it. HOPEFULLY
I just have to say I am quietly pleased with myself this week.
I have attended my first Active Fit class, swam at leat 5km and went for a 5 mile walk yestarday.
